I'm ready to register!

Care-a-thon registration is an easy three-step process:

1  Complete the online registration form

2  Open your confirmation email and jot down your code

3  Follow the link on your confirmation email and enter your code

Your ready to build your personal fundraising page and start raising money!

Who can register? All UC Irvine students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited to join us for our dance marathon party. You must have a UCINetID to register. (Don't have your UCINetID? Sign up for yours now.) You must fundraise a minimum of $25 to get access to the event.  Feel free to set your personal goal even higher!

How do I fundraise? All the tools you need to reach your fundraising goal are provided, including:

• A personalized fundraising web site where you can add your own pictures and text and then share the direct link with your family, friends and other potential supporters. You can also join forces with registered friends and create a group fundraising page!

• A sample fundraising letter that you can send to friends and families asking for their support. This letter is included in your registration confirmation email.

How do I edit my fundraising page? Easy. Just go to your personal page by entering your name or your group’s name on the homepage of this website. Once you’re on your page, click on the word “Administration” at the very bottom of the page (below the UC Irvine logo). Enter your UCInetID and you’re ready to go! Alternatively, if you already know your website’s URL, simply add “/admin/” to the end of it. For example, http://www.ucimpact.uci.edu/cause/careathon2011/johndoe/admin/

Remember, your Administration homepage contains a "Group Join code" to share with friends who want to join your group!
